- Attends trade-related association and networking events; participates on association committees.
Encourages additional sales by building strong Client relationships.
- Follows up with registered Clients in order to build relationships, to create an initial order, and to keep Clients actively using Tradesmen when our Field Employees will be productive for them by regularly visiting the Client’s place of business and by other means.
- Builds ongoing relationships with each Client’s senior management, office personnel, and jobsite superintendents by regularly visiting the Client’s place of business and by other means.
- Conducts follow up communication with Client after Field Employee dispatch to ensure Client satisfaction and quality control.

- Decides how to deal with Client issues and complaints in a proactive and professional manner and with a sense of urgency.

- Prepares Field Employees for assignments with Clients and walks them on to first jobs or new Clients.

Tradesmen International is hiring an Inside Sales Representative to join our Inside Sales team. This position reports to the corporate headquarters located near Cleveland, OH area.

About the Team Our growing customer base and approach to account acquisition in the B2B construction and industrial market is supported by our Inside Sales team. The team’s primary focus is to bring energy and focus to our B2B sales pipeline by increasing sales with prospects as well as our installed base of customers. The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for developing and qualifying new leads, communicating with customers, understanding their needs, and ensuring a smooth and successful sales process.
How You'll Make a Difference
· Source new sales opportunities, communicate our value proposition and build relationships with potential customers via outbound calls, email, and social media
· Research new accounts to identify key decision makers and tailor our messaging to their specific needs
· Understand customer needs/requirements and identify sales opportunities
· Maintain and expand our CRM database of customers and prospects
· Qualify inbound and outbound leads for hand off to outside field sales team
· Will likely schedule appointments for field sales reps to meet with qualified leads
· Team with field sales reps to build pipelines and close deals with customers
· Perform effective follow-ups with existing customers or prospects
· Achieve targets (e.g., “Sales Qualified Appointments”) set by Director of Inside Sales
What You’ll Bring to the Table
· Prior experience in an inside sales, business development, sales or lead generation role within a B2B sales organization preferred
· 1+ years of closing and/or account management experience within a B2B sales environment
· Proven success in consultative sales environments where understanding the customer’s needs and objectives are a top priority
· Ability to independently run qualification calls
· Technical aptitude with sales-related computer skills – CRM systems (such as Salesforce, Bullhorn, or others), Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and lead generation databases
· Strong communications, customer service, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
· Excellent phone and cold calling skills
· A capacity for hard work, a self-starter with an enthusiastic, can-do attitude, and the ability to work well in a team environment
· A bachelor’s degree in business, management or marketing or some other relevant major is a plus
· Industry certification such as the Certified Inside Sales Professional (CISP) or other relevant industry certification is a plus

The primary responsibility of an Industrial Account Executive is to obtain orders or contracts for Tradesmen’s services within the Industrial and Manufacturing verticals. Industrial Account Executives customarily and regularly perform this primary responsibility in the field by educating contractors, facility managers and HR managers about the Tradesmen International Value Proposition. Industrial Account Executives are responsible for locating and bringing in new business, as well as maintaining Client relationships that increase the usage of Tradesmen International’s services and workforce.
Qualifications:
Product-line, industry knowledge preferred – for example, plant maintenance, manufacturing, or job shops just to name a few! Successful candidates will exemplify the below characteristics in addition to having success in an industrial sales role.
- Drive to Win– Generate and develop new customer accounts to increase revenue including cold-calling and client management. Penetrate all targeted accounts and radiate sales from within client base.
- Adaptable and Resilient– Overcome objections of prospective customers. Periodically conduct information-only presentations, such as trade show demonstrations.
- Relationship Builder– Demonstrated ability to convert prospects and close deals while maintaining sales quotas. Perform professional presentations of company service(s), build and foster a network of referrals to create new opportunities for revenue growth.

- Maximize account potential and exceed quarter over quarter growth and profitability

- Communicates detailed Client needs to the Operations team o Generates sales leads and prospects for Clients

- Collects monies owed Tradesmen on a timely basis
- Attends trade-related association and networking events; participates on association committees
- Maintain current and develop new business opportunities and client partnerships
- Follows up with registered Clients in order to build relationships, to create an initial order, and to keep Clients actively using Tradesmen Field Employees
- Builds ongoing relationships with each Client’s senior management, office personnel, and jobsite superintendents
- Conducts follow up communication with Client after Field Employee dispatch to ensure Client satisfaction and quality control
- Delivers periodic Field Employee evaluations to Client
- Decides how to deal with Client issues and complaints in a proactive and professional manner and with a sense of urgency
- Encourage additional sales by managing and building strong Field Employee relationships
- Prepares Field Employees for assignments with Clients and walks them on to first jobs or new Clients
- Builds Field Employee relationships by calling Working Employees at the end of the first day, visiting jobsites at least weekly, and calling Available Employees to check on their status and assuring them we are looking for an assignment.
- Remains aware at all times, in part through regular visits to the field, of which Field Employees are currently assigned to which jobsites and decides how to address Field Employees’ issues in a proactive, professional manner and with a sense of urgency
- Drive client satisfaction through personal accountability and a results mentality
- Encourages additional sales by managing and transmitting information to support the sales process
- Maintains Client sales files through Salesforce CRM
- Attends required meetings, including One on One meetings with National Sales Manager or Regional Sales Lead, Operations meetings, Business Development meetings, and Weekly Sales Training meetings
- Completes a Sales Activity Report in the computer system weekly
- Completes and presents a daily plan for the following week to the National Sales Manager or Regional Sales Lead
- Responds to any work-related injuries for investigation and report completion
- Supports the recruitment process by encouraging Employee referrals from top Field Employees and hands out referral program literature as appropriate
- Remains updated on, and adheres to, all procedures detailed in the Field Office Procedures Manual
- Participates in field and classroom training activities within specified timeframes
- Perform other duties as assigned by National Sales Manager or Regional Sales Lead

The Staffing Specialist is part of a centrally managed team responsible for effectively and consistently filling client orders with qualified, safety-minded Tradesmen Field Employees (FE’s) across the Tradesmen National footprint with a market specific focus. The Staffing Specialist are a company asset, filling priority orders as assigned, leveraging current FE’s with known track records for safety and skill within their assigned market and beyond. Staffing Specialist are responsible for following a high-volume, internal recruiting strategy and process. Staffing Specialist are responsible for determining when new recruits are needed and will work with the Workforce Coordinators to ensure a qualified pipeline of external candidates and full cycle hiring support. Staffing Specialist own the hiring decision, leveraging compelling and engaging virtual interviewing and evaluating techniques. Staffing Specialist follow a consistent process to maintain accurate FE records, profiles, and availability to ensure productive fill rates and detailed insight into safety, skill, reliability, and employee interest. Staffing Specialist positively impact FE retention by nurturing meaningful employee relationships in a virtual environment, ensuring FE availability is clearly understood and communicated to the sales team. Job Overview:
Drive Safety Culture– Ensure safety culture is upheld through the employee selection process and by maintaining accurate safety records, ensuring minimum safety qualifications are met and engaging in activities to drive and promote safety.
- Ensure only qualified and safety-minded FE’s are being selected and dispatched
- Conduct thorough and compliant interviews and follow all interview protocol
- Maintain high standards for obtaining necessary jobsite information
- Conduct safety walkouts and jobsite visits as needed
- Maintain accurate employee records regarding safety and safety training
Fill Orders– Fill orders by recruiting and selecting the best internal and external candidates that meet the unique qualifications for specified orders and have a proven track record for safety and skill.
- Leverage internal recruiting process including new campaigns, pipeline building, and re-engagement efforts to prioritize current and former TI FE’s with known track records for safety and skill
- Conduct compelling and effective virtual and in-person hiring evaluations for new TI FE’s using the SCORE program
- Maintain accurate FE records and lead lists to ensure clear line of sight into employee skillset, interest, and availability for matching with new orders
- Drive FE commitment and retention through effective engagement and employee utilization strategies
- Manage relationships with sales to ensure clear line of sight into project needs and employee resources
Coordinate Projects– Create the game-plan to effectively fill incoming orders and provide ongoing oversight of existing projects by staying on-top of project end-dates, client needs, and opportunities to upsell.
- Lead strategic operations meetings and support sales by leveraging opportunities to utilize existing employee resources and new hires
- Ensure timely and relevant updates of project end-dates and availability of currently working FE’s
- Leverage the internal recruiting process to inform sales of current available FE’s, quickly react to new priority orders, and drive sales activity based in FE availability
Requirements:
Previous HR/Staffing or Recruiting background is highly preferred. Prior experience fostering and developing relationships in a remote environment would be beneficial. Experience with iCIMS (Applicant Tracking System) and Excel is a plus. Prior construction knowledge is a plus, but not required.

The salary for this position is $50,000. Employees in this position may also, in some circumstances, be eligible for bonus payments on top of the salary payments described above provided the employee meets the requirements of the applicable bonus plan.
