As a District Sales Manager, you’ll lead sales growth and operational success across two Tradesmen International offices—Richmond (primary office) and Norfolk. You’ll build and coach high-performing sales teams, drive client relationships, and support recruiting efforts to deliver skilled craftworkers. This role offers the opportunity to shape a thriving, people-centered office culture while making a measurable impact on revenue and performance.
What You'll Be Responsible For:
Sales Leadership
- Lead your team to achieve and exceed budgeted sales and gross profit goals.
- Share proven sales strategies and best practices to drive success across both territories.
- Coach and support Account Executives in executing the Tradesmen sales process.
- Build and maintain strong client partnerships through outreach, development efforts, and appreciation initiatives.
- Monitor client satisfaction and drive improvements to deliver exceptional service.
Field Recruiting Partnership
- Collaborate with internal recruiting teams to fulfill client needs with high-quality craftworkers.
- Support strong field employee relationships through orientations, recognition programs, and ongoing engagement.
- Focus on field employee retention by fostering a positive and inclusive experience.
Safety Culture
- Reinforce safety as a core value through training, awareness, and accountability.
- Promote ongoing safety campaigns and ensure compliance with OSHA requirements.
- Contribute to a culture of safety-first thinking in every area of the business.
Office Management & Performance
- Manage office sales planning and budgeting while identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Analyze performance data to drive smarter decision-making.
- Lead office meetings, uphold accountability, and ensure alignment with company goals and standards.
- Oversee daily operations and performance of both the Richmond and Norfolk offices, with Richmond serving as the home base.
Team Development & Culture
- Set clear goals and KPIs, and provide consistent coaching and development to team members.
- Create a motivating, high-energy environment where people are excited to show up and win together.
- Own key staffing decisions, including hiring, performance improvement, and recognition.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in a service or staffing environment
- Prior leadership or management experience with a proven ability to coach and develop a sales team
- Strong understanding of sales KPIs, forecasting, and pipeline management
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lead in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with CRM systems is a plus
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
