We are now seeking a Tax Analyst to join our Corporate Finance team. This role is responsble for ensuring company compliance with all federal, state and local tax regulations and reporting requirements. The Tax Analyst works in a hybrid environment with 2-4 days spent at our Corporate Headquarters in Macedonia.

 

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Prepare quarterly tax estimates for various tax calculations.

  • Assist with preparation of supporting documentation for monthly, quarterly and annual financial statement tax calculations, including but not limited to, tax deferrals and accruals.

  • Prepare and refine tax workpapers, including multistate apportionment schedules and supporting analyses for consolidated federal and state income tax filings.

  • Manage monthly tax account reconciliations, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and alignment with accounting and reporting standards.

  • Responsible for compliance with all indirect tax obligations, including sales and use tax, personal property tax, business licenses, commercial activity tax, and gross receipts tax and ensuring proper documentation and timely reporting.

  • Assist with federal, state and local tax audits, notices and inquires. Draft and/or coordinate responses, manage data requests, and assist with development of strategies to mitigate audit exposure.

  • Assist with fixed asset tax considerations and related accounting activities, providing guidance on tax depreciation, capitalization policies, and system integrity.

  • Support and contribute to tax planning initiatives and cross-functional special projects, offering insights that optimize tax positions.

  • Drive continuous process improvement by identifying automation opportunities and implementing technology-driven solutions to enhance accuracy, transparency, and efficiency of tax workflows.

    Complete other special projects as assigned.

 

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
  • 2-4 years of public accounting or corporate tax experience, preferably with federal, state, and local compliance experience is a plus.
  • Proficiency with MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
  • Advanced Excel skills required
  • Strong desire to utilize technology to resolve issues and increase productivity
  • Strong analytical, technical and research skills, with the ability to interpret regulations and provide actionable insights
  • Ability to multi-task, meet specified deadlines and maintain a flexible, positive attitude
